Video Producer | Franklin, TN

• Find, implement, and optimize production systems: help manage everything that comes in and out of our studio from lighting equipment, to audio quality, to the on-screen livestream experience, this role is in charge of making sure our set and equipment is being used to the fullest, stays up-to-date, and serves our needs.
• Project manage special video projects: from a new online course, to a long-form YouTube series, to refreshing our livestream animations, this role can lead a team to take a video project from start to finish.
• Share editing and recording responsibilities: join our team of editors in the post-production process of our premiere content on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and more.
• Put together compelling pitches for projects we want to tackle: Show us how our video ideas can become a reality. What will it take? What equipment and manpower will we need? What timeline will work? What hurdles will we need to overcome?
• Coordinate recording and release schedules with production team: help keep the team up-to-date on what’s happening, and continue to improve upon current calendar and communication systems.
• Be protective of the brand: Act as a gatekeeper for videos that don’t pass the brand check. Lead with education, delight with humor. Keep the focus on what matters most, but find ways to inject humor, fun, and entertainment into every piece of content.

• Deep, and comprehensive knowledge of video live-streaming and recording setups: Find and manage the pre and post production resources to accomplish our goals; troubleshoot, optimize, and upgrade tech and studio equipment; comfortable setting up, tearing down, and reconfiguring livestream and recording setups on a regular basis
• Comprehensive video editing experience: Ability to edit efficiently in Adobe Premiere Pro (or comparable software) and a propensity to match our brand’s style, feel, and sense of humor
• Project Management experience: Comfortable with owning responsibility for a project from start to finish, and able to utilize systems (personally and company-wide) to effectively keep track of multiple projects at once
• A Team Player: Willing to listen, learn, and share ideas as the team grows and develops new projects; appreciates the legacy of the show, supports the creator’s vision

• A degree in Production, Broadcasting, Communications, or related field
• At least 5 years experience in video production
• Strong portfolio of video content, set design, and equipment knowledge
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience and/or affinity for YouTube and social video strategy
• An optimistic sense of humor

• Ability to plan, set up, operate, and tear down video and livestream sets
• Ability to lead a team and communicate a vision
• Ability to document details of a project across project management systems
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or comparable software)
• Familiarity with Google Docs/Drive
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop
